Procter and Gamble wanted to provide new parents with
information about making their home safe and germ-free for babies and
young children. They had already produced the successful Pampers Guide
to Baby Skincare with Martin Books and so they came back to us for this
new branded
book.
Safe Home, Safe Baby is full of lots of useful and
serious information, but we made sure that it was presented in a
cheerful and accessible way. Despite a considerable amount of content,
every page looks fresh and lively. The design incorporates
lots of colour and we enlivened the text with photographs and playful
illustrations.
It
is a friendly but authoritative book, subtly reinforcing loyalty to the
featured products: Swiffer, Febreze Antibacterial, Fairy Extra Hygiene,
Flash Antibacterial. New parents will refer to it again and again and
will rely on it for advice. It is first and foremost a reference book to
help new mums and dads but it also develops loyalty to Procter and
Gamble products.
Procter
and Gamble adapted the material to form the basis of a website.
Copies for new mums were provided in a bounty bag.
